Dunlop Avenue, named after noted Davis Cup Tennis player, Alfred Wallace Dunlop who owned property extending west from Studley Avenue. Dunlop died in 1933 and the property was sub-divided in 1950 creating Dunlop Avenue with its numerous 1950s cream-brick houses.
